Terms of Service

EventRun Waitlist & Beta Programme

Version: 1.0 | Effective date: March 2026

These Terms govern your participation in the EventRun waitlist and closed beta programme only. Separate Terms of Service will be published when the EventRun application launches publicly.

1. Who These Terms Are Between

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between you and EventRun ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the EventRun pre-launch website at eventrun.ng.

By submitting the waitlist form on our website, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not submit the form.

2. Eligibility

To join the waitlist or participate in the beta, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be operating or planning to operate an event vendor business (as a caterer, decorator, planner, rental company, photographer, MC, DJ, or similar)
  • Provide accurate information in the sign-up form

We reserve the right to remove from the waitlist any entry we reasonably believe was submitted with inaccurate information or in bad faith.

3. The Waitlist

3.1 What it is

The EventRun waitlist is a pre-registration programme that allows Nigerian event vendors to express interest in using EventRun ahead of its planned public launch in June 2026.

3.2 What it is not

Joining the waitlist is not a contract for services. It does not:

  • Guarantee you access to EventRun at launch or any specific time
  • Guarantee that EventRun will launch by June 2026 or at all
  • Guarantee that any particular feature shown on this website will be available at launch
  • Create any financial or legal obligation on either side

3.3 Unsubscribing

You may remove yourself from the waitlist at any time by emailing us or clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We will process your request within 30 days.

4. The Closed Beta Programme

4.1 What the beta is

EventRun will run a closed beta programme from approximately May 2026, with up to 20 selected vendors. Beta testers will receive early access to the EventRun platform ahead of its public launch.

4.2 Applying and selection

Ticking "I want early access" on the waitlist form is an application — not a guarantee of beta access. We will select participants at our sole discretion. If you have not heard from us by 30 April 2026, you were not selected for this round.

4.3 What beta testers receive

Selected beta testers will receive:

  • Free access to the EventRun Growth plan for 3 months, starting from the date their account is activated.
  • Direct, prioritised support from the EventRun team during the beta period.

This free access applies to the beta period only. If you wish to continue using the Growth plan after the 3-month free period, a subscription at the then-current pricing will be required.

4.4 Beta software — important disclaimer

The beta platform is pre-release software provided strictly for testing purposes. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties of any kind.

During the beta, you should expect and accept that:

  • Features may be incomplete, work differently from how they are described, or be removed entirely.
  • The platform may experience bugs, errors, unexpected downtime, or data loss.
  • Your data entered during the beta may be reset or lost, particularly between beta versions.

We strongly recommend you do not rely solely on the beta platform for business-critical operations.

4.5 Your feedback

As a beta participant, you agree to actively use the platform and share honest feedback. EventRun may use your feedback to improve the platform without further obligation to you.

4.6 Confidentiality of beta features

You agree not to share screenshots, screen recordings, or detailed public descriptions of unreleased beta features without our prior written consent. This does not prevent you from describing EventRun's general purpose to other vendors.

4.7 Suspension or termination of beta access

We may suspend or revoke your beta access at any time if you breach these Terms, your use causes harm, or we decide to restructure the beta programme. Where possible, we will give you reasonable advance notice.

5. Intellectual Property

EventRun and all content on the waitlist website and beta platform — including the name "EventRun", its logo, design, code, and features — are the property of EventRun and are protected by applicable Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform or website without our written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

By participating in the waitlist and beta, you agree that you will not:

  • Submit false or misleading information in the sign-up form
  • Use the beta platform for any purpose other than testing it as an event vendor
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems
  • Interfere with other beta participants' access or data

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, EventRun and its team members will not be liable to you for:

  • Any loss or corruption of data entered into the beta platform
  • Any lost revenue, missed bookings, or business disruption arising from your use of the beta
  • Any reliance on information or features shown on the waitlist website
  • EventRun's failure to launch, to make the beta available, or to continue operating

Our total liability to you in connection with the waitlist or beta programme shall not exceed the amount you have paid us — which, during the free beta period, is zero.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Waitlist & Beta Privacy Policy, published alongside these Terms. By submitting the waitlist form, you also agree to that Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify waitlist members by email before the change takes effect. These Terms apply only to the pre-launch phase. New Terms of Service will be published for the full application.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your participation in the waitlist or beta will first be subject to good-faith resolution between the parties. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it may be referred to the appropriate Nigerian courts.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EventRun in relation to the waitlist and beta programme. They replace any prior communications or representations made about participation.
